Good Sunday afternoon to you all

Today is my sister's wedding anniversary and this is the card I made for her and her hubby -
The stamp is Fizzy Dizzy from Crafter's Companion's Catitudes collection which I stamped onto Sheena's stamping card and coloured with Spectrum Noir Sparkle pens -

  • smoked quartz, onyx black, sterling silver, red berry, aquamarine, pink garnet and crystal clear
I have also used -

  • white/hint of silver centura pearl (for the card base)
  • matt black card
  • red core'dinations
  • Sara's signature collection - love and romance paper pad
  • Catitudes falling hearts embossing folder
  • Tonic layering circles die set
  • Tonic rose doily die set
  • Sara's signature collection - celebrate die
  • bling from my stash

I cut the celebrate die twice and shadowed it as shown.
After I had embossed the cardstock I sanded it back to reveal the core.

Thinking of you flourish

Hello folks

Well where has the last week and a half gone? I can't believe I haven't posted on my little blog for such a long time. I really must try harder.
I have been crafting however and today's card is an experimental one. I bought these dies after Christmas after having to make a couple of sympathy cards when I realised I had no condolence type sentiment dies (the corner die just fell into my basket whilst shopping, I really have no idea how that keeps happening!!). I cut both dies out of Sheena's stamping card and then coloured them with my Spectrum Noir pens and here is the result -
I used -

  • Tattered Lace ditsy flourish corner die
  • Tattered Lace Thinking of you flourish die
  • Sheena stamping card
  • Spectrum Noir pens - GY1, BO1, AG3, AG4, AG5, AP2, Ap3, AP4 and LV2
  • matt black card
  • white linen card
  • 6 x 4 inch card blank

I think I should have added some little pearls to the flowers so I will add some before I pop this inot my finished card box.

Well that is all from me today. Enjoy your day, I am making bird feeders with the children today to help with our bird spotting. A very messy but enjoyable lesson.

Putting on the Ritz

Hello everyone

This is my last day on holiday so I am trying to squash in as many jobs as possible. Hopefully I'll get some crafting time too.

Today's card is another one I made using my new Tattered Lace Art Deco dies -
I have used -

  • Tattered Lace A5 Art Deco paper pad I used 2 pieces and pieced them together. Can you spot the join?)
  • Sheena stamping card
  • Purple and black core'dinations
  • scraps of brown paper and platinium centura pearl
  • Spectrum Noir pens - FS2, FS4, FS9 and TN2
  • Spectrum Noir sterling silver Sparkle pen
  • Tattered Lace Art DEco pure decadence lady die
  • Tattered Lace Vintage Vector card shape die
  • Tattered Lace Art Deco It's your birthday die

I cut the pure decadence lady die from Sheena stamping card, coloured her skin with Spectrum Noir pens, her dress and shoes with Sparkle pen and paper pieced her hair and dress.
I cut the sentiment twice and then shadowed them.

Thank you for stopping by. Now I am off to get my hair cut. Enjoy your day.

Hedgehog thanks

Good morning folks

I had a great trip to Preston yesterday. The traffic was light and the weather was stunning. It is the first time I have been able to see the beautiful Lancashire hills in all their glory for a long time. I was also able to make a quick trip to Inspirations but restricted my spending to essentials only. A perfect day.

I have been busy making Thank you cards recently. I decided rather than batch making cards I would make lots of smaller, different ones and so far I have made 2....... definitely not enough so I have ended up batch making cards - best laid plans and all that!!
Here is one of the non-batch ones -
The stamp I have used is a new one from My Favourite Things and is called Happy Hedgehogs. It has lots of smaller stamps which make picture making really fun and some brilliant little sentiments. I stamped onto Sheena's stamping card and coloured it with Spectrum Noir Colourblend pencils -

  • hedgehogs - cocnut, timberwood, havana, cream, eggshell, saddle brown and peach
  • leaves - ginger, cider, daisy, saffron, redcurrant, sangria, holly, alpine, pumpkin and nectarine
  • toadstools - redcurrant, sangria, cedarwood and maple
  • log - maroon and walnut
  • sky - verdigris and seafoam

I have also used -

  • Die'sire create-a-card Nicole
  • Kraft card
  • Forever fall paper pad from Bobunny
  • brown core'dinations
  • ribbon from my stash
That's all from me for today. Thank you for stopping by.
